You need Perl and M4 to use Autoconf. Version 1.4.5 of M4 should be present in
development tools on newer AROS installations. AROS Perl port is available to
download on The AROS Archives.

This port needs usr: assign pointing to Development. On newer AROS installations
it should be already present.

Patch containing modifications done to the original Autoconf source code is
distributed with AROS contrib-source snapshots in
gnu/autoconf/autoconf-2.62-aros.diff file.
