[Show comments] [Show snapshots] [Show videos] [Show content] [Replace file] This is my first shot of an AROS version of PicShow. It is just a recompile of the Amiga version and has not been tested very much, so it might still have some AROS-related bugs in addition to those it already had. One thing I've found is that scaling does not work without interpolation. So enable interpolation from the options menu and then save the defaults to make it always work. AROS is quick enough for interpolation anyway. From the original readme: This program is meant to be configured as picture viewer in directory tools like DirOpus or DosControl. It shows the doubleclicked picture in a borderless window on the specified custom screen. The remarkable about this program is that it reads the whole directory the picture is in and you can then choose other pictures out of this directory from a menu or by pressing the cursor keys. PicShow can also be used as a simple slide show program. It can display pictures either in sort order or randomly. When run on its own screen there are also some nice blend effects. Additionally PicShow has several effective picture manupulation functions. |
