Here you find a new effort dedicated to the programming that I managed to
complete. It was hard to complete this pdf but not because it was difficult to
make it from a technical point of view but because the time available is less
and less! It wanted a year and more, in the end, however, I can propose it here
online today 18-11-2018.

There is talk of making retro -style video games in 2018, using the DOS system
that was so popular in the PC world before Windows, Linux and others took the
complete upper hand. In those eighties and nineties of the millennial hundred,
real PC video games were made, as they were done once! I had the privilege of
living that golden era, not only on PC but on many other platforms, such as
Commodore 64 and Amiga ...

Thanks to this PDF book it will be possible to use a tools that I have assembled
specifically, made of dosbox, rhide, djgpp, cheerful.h, ppcol ... thanks to this
simple material now dated it will be possible to achieve anything that can work
on a DOS systemBy typing simple routines in C.

But why the dos?! This choice was born a bit because, as I have already
described, I spent my first years as a Pciista with this operating system but
also because the DOS now is perfectly emulated by every platform and on every
computer. Dye there is a Dosbox emulator, it means that our DOS video game can
be perfectly integrated to it and therefore compatible with any hardware.

However, it should not be thought that with the directives I propose in this
pdf, a thousands of wasted megabytes is released! No, in this work I explain
that it will be beautiful to remain within the skills of the single floppy, the
256 colors of the VGA video card, of something that works on a 386 or higher
CPU. That can be managed with Autoboot by a floppy on a real computer of that
time! Fantastic sometimes go back to make something that moves on a CRT screen
in the 320x200 resolution with audio soundblaster ... try it.
