A small tool to search and maintain a database of over one thousand useful terms
involving general computing and the Amiga in particular. The program knows the
HTTP protocol and can be configured to download a new copy of its database
whenever it becomes available.

AORMTool was a combined effort between David Tiberio (AmiSpider) and Udo
Schuermann. The goal of this effort was to bring to the Amiga community a
reference tool (Amiga Online Reference Manual) that could be kept up-to-date via
the Internet and would be expanded to include up-to-the minute newscasts on your
desktop a la NetCaster.

AORMTool has been ported to AROS by Oliver Brunner just for fun.

The database was last updated 1998-01-11, so don't expect an up to date
documentation. The the original GUI was replaced by a Zune GUI and fixed a few
places in the original code. Also most output formats and the update mechanism
have been removed/disabled.

You can find the original AORMTool at:

This archive contains both the original AmigaOS executable and the ported AROS
one. Sources for both versions included.
