[Show comments] [Show snapshots] [Show videos] [Show content] [Replace file] uCommand_v1 by serk118()gmain.com -------------------------------- Opens/Runs/ToFront Wanderer/Workbench Drawers/Files.. uCommand is a little tool that sits on somewhere in your Desktop and Opens/Runs/ToFront Wanderer/Workbench Drawers/Files by clicking buttons. if you are like me who dont like to have lots of icons on the desktop of Wanderer/workbench than uCommand is the tool for you or else icons on the Wanderer/workbench is nice part of wanderer. uAddCommand v1 by serk118()gmail.com ----------------------------------- uAddCommand is based on zune/mui has been born to be used by uCommand v1 What does it do? --------------- Adds a new button/command to uCommand tool. INSTALLING manualy(since my auto installer letmedown) ---------- if you want to run this tool when aros boots --------------------------------------------------------- copy uCommand.exe to sys:wbstartup/ uCommand.dat to sys:wbstartup/ -- uAddCommand/ folder to where ever you like but keep the files in the folder. -- c:openwb to sys:c/ or you can also run from its own folder by keeping uCommand and uCommand.dat file in one folder. on first run it will prompt you where your uCommand.dat file is than it will save the location and wont ask again. Usage Of uAddCommand.exe ------------------------ 0.Example_Usage(1) >>add executable file to command list. 1.run uAddCommand first. >>note(add this tool to ucommand for later usage) 2.Change [Change Me] to Editor. 3.click where Select Drawer/FileName and select Sys:Tools/Editor 4.click on [Add To List] button. 5.job done(will showup on next runtime of uCommand) 0.Example_Usage(2) >>add openable drawer to command list. 1.run uAddCommand first. 2.Change [Change Me] to Tools/ 3.click where Select Drawer/FileName and select Sys:Tools/ (you dont need to select any file) just drawer location than enter. 4.click on [Add To List] button. 5.job done(will showup on next runtime of uCommand) Config (ucommand.Dat) from a file ------------------ #AHI<sys:Prefs/AHI> //#AHI is the short name & <is the path or filename> #Editor<sys:Tools/Editor> #name<file or drawer name> -------------------------- max_listed_data==50 buttons but anybody want more than i can disable the limit. #Editor<sys:Tools/Editor> //you can put comments like this after command if button say [blank] that meant location of PROGDIR: drawer & will open if you click. gui is not the best ever but till i learn more about zune. -------------------------- if you want to edit yourself than read ------------------ ------------------- # short name/id/tag.(dont use long names) < start of path/file. > end of path/file. // comment sign like c (do not use characters like #,<,> in commented bit) --------------------------- undone list not bugs ------------------- 1.A/Z sorting not done (i will work on this if i get any request) 2.Delete_Function (same as above if any request) >>manualy edit uCommand.dat for now. 3.Auto Short name..(sys:tools/editor) <- so (Editor) will be the short id from the path. 4.Check if same Short name exist before save to .dat file. 5.Upto (4) is what i can think & anybody wants add more just email. i did not bother much since it was my use only but if anybody thinks this can be killer tool than sent me a email. //end part I have ported 68k version of qopenwb.c from Aminet - util/wb Author:Ilkka Lehtoranta (ilkleht()isoveli.org) and aros version by me so i can find my way in/out from folders instead of openning drawer after drawer to find your wanted drawer & after this tool i found out aros had open in c: does the same thing but nevermind i wroto this tool if anyone want to command there way in. since my source are not very tidy for new comers thats why its not here but anybody wants the code or wants to add an ide than please email me on serk118()gmail.com. |
