It's freeware. 2. Source supports build for any modern Amiga. 3. The images of eyes is similar to the original, but have been re-designed for High and Laced resolutions. 4. The images of eyes are available in two versions: big-endian (m68k, ppc) and little-endian (i386, x86_64). This is a cross-platform requirement. 5. Tooltypes are supported and you can launch the application from WBStartup. ============================ R E Q U I R E M E N T ============================ Pointer Eyes tested and worked fine on the following configurations: - AmigaOS 3.1 (Kickstart 40.68, Workbench 40.42) - AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition (Kickstart 53.70, Workbench 53.14) - IcarOS i386 (Kickstart 51.51, Workbench 40.0, AROS ABIv0) - AROS One i386 (Kickstart 51.51, Workbench 40.0, AROS ABIv0) AmigaOS 4.0 users can try using PointerEyes_aos3.exe, this should work. PointerEyes_aos4.exe uses window transparency which appeared only in AOS 4.1 AmigaOS 4.1 users deprived now of the WBStartup directory, but Installer will still create it and put the program there. All that remains is to add app from SYS:Prefs/WBStartup utility. Pointer Eyes may not show correctly in AmigaOS 3 with patched intuition.library functions. I don't know if it will still work in AmigaOS 2.04 (probably no). With any AROS ABIv0 i386 distributive Pointer Eyes works fine (as usual). ================================= U S A G E =================================== If you don't write your tooltypes in the app icon, nothing terrible will happen. In this case Pointer Eyes will use the default values. Pointer Eyes by default thinks that you want to see the eyes in the titlebar, to the left of the clock. Tooltypes only three: XPOS=n (Screen width -180 pix for AmigaOS 4 and -160 for AROS by default) YPOS=n (The middle of the titlebar is calculated by default) RSHIFT=n (Offset from the Right edge of the screen in pixels, no default) , where n - is the number ================================ S O U R C E ================================== This is based on the source code of the original version Pointer Eyes 1.1 which was written back in 1994 by the talented programmer John Hughes. You can find my source codes in Source directory. They are easily compiled with the attached Makefile in gcc for AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS 4 and AROS ABIv0, like: $ make -f Makefile OS=AOS3 $ make -f Makefile OS=AOS4 $ make -f Makefile OS=AROS32 ------------ Eugene aGGreSSor Sobolev, St.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, 2020 ------------
