This is an intent to write a Paper Doc for AROS SHELL regarding it's use from the USER point of view. It covers the following subjects: - INTRODUCTION - AROS SHELL BASICS : - AROS SHELL / PATH / COMMAND TEMPLATE / PATTERNS / REDIRECTION /SPECIAL DEVICES / RUNNING IN BACKGROUND / BASIC FILE OPERATION WITH SHELL / WORKING WITH SMART FILE SYSTEM (SFS) / - SCRIPT PROGRAMMING: - AROS-DOS SCRIPTING / WORKING WITH A SCRIPT FILE / CHANGING SYSTEM SCRIPT FILES - AROS COMMAND REFERENCE - APENDIX covering PRINTER ESCAPE SEQUENCES (OR COMMANDS)and AROS-DOS Error messages NOTE: This is a heavily updated version of the manual, based on the work already done by Joao Ralha in the past. It includes all SYS:C commands from current nightly builds and everything about Poseidon shell utilities, taken from Chris Hodges' original docs. This version also includes AROSTCP commands and archive management utilities in the Extras drawer. This manual was produced using a variety of resources and documentation available in www.aros.org and other AROS resource sites by João Ralha and Paolo Besser. Original AROS USER documentation was written by Stefan Rieken, Matt Parsons, Adam Chodorowski, Sergey Mineychev, Matthias Rustler.
