I remember HA as the best archiver for text files. It often used in FidoNET and
was the de facto standard for text and ASCII data compression. As is well known,
this archiver was never completed, but even the beta that went into free

distribution was enough to overshadow RAR and GZIP. Of course HA completely
ineffective on other file types and cannot be used for everything.

The archiver has a special love for directories with text files.

Try:

> cd RAM:
> ha a21 ENV_backup.ha ENV/
> ha l ENV_backup.ha
> ha xy ENV_backup.ha

I think you will understand why I was upset when I didn't find HA under AROS and
decided to compile it. Yes, it's archaic.
